New England Public Policy Center

The Boston Fed’s New England Public Policy Center promotes better public policy in New England by conducting and disseminating objective, high-quality research and analysis of strategically identified regional economic and policy issues.

On a limited basis, the Boston Fed provides speakers to nonprofit, business, and civic groups on topics such as functions of the Federal Reserve, banking issues, economic conditions, community development efforts, and economic/financial education.

The Beige Book

Each Federal Reserve Bank gathers anecdotal information on current economic conditions in its District through reports from Bank and Branch directors and interviews with key business contacts, economists, market experts, and other sources.
