The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston in partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, Olneyville Housing Corporation and Rhode Island LISC invite you to join community bankers, community development practitioners & policy makers, nonprofit lenders, for-profit developers and municipal government representatives in discussing community development finance in the era of sequestration.
Community development initiatives have never required more creativity, collaboration and patience. Furthermore, balancing organizational priorities and market opportunities within the context of today’s economy requires private and public development professionals to collaborate in ways seldom considered a few years ago. Join us for a discussion which asks the question…“Is social innovation financing and similarly innovative finance tools viable alternatives for community development in light of the proposed federal and state budget cuts?”
