Meetings will be held three times a year. While most meetings will be held at the Federal Reserve Bank, reasonable efforts will be made to hold at least one meeting annually out in a District area site. Agendas will be developed jointly by the Council members and Reserve Bank staff.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's New England Community Development Advisory Council (CDAC), in partnership with Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo, cordially invites you to the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's 2015 New England Community Development Advisory Council Regional Convening.

The 2015 Regional Convening will include members of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston leadership, the New England Community Development Advisory Council, representatives from Rhode Island's state & local governments, regional and community-based organizations, and private-sector partners. We will convene in Providence, Rhode Island for an interactive, cross–sector discussion that includes:

  • An announcement by Governor Raimondo and Boston Fed President Eric Rosengren on the planned expansion of the Working Cities Challenge to Rhode Island; and
  • A moderated discussion of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's Working Cities Challenge, including a presentation on the effort's initial progress and lessons learned, followed by a panel of Rhode Island and Massachusetts local and state leaders and private-sector partners on the Challenge's experience in Massachusetts, and the initiative's potential in Rhode Island.
