These educational seminars are designed to provide attendees with (1) the principles and concepts necessary to manage their Federal Reserve accounts effectively and (2) essential information on Payment System Risk (PSR) and (3) an overview of 2900 Reporting.

Seminars are free to executives, managers and staff from First District depository institutions.

New in 2013

As part of the Reserves Simplification effort, there have been many changes in policies that were implemented from July 2012 through July 2013 that affect Reserve management.  Additionally, the Federal Reserve has provided a new application, Reserves Central- Reserve Account Administration (RC-RAA) to support Reserve management. These changes may impact how your Reserve account is managed and will be highlighted during this seminar.

Who Should Attend

The Reserves and Account Management seminar contains information on 2900 Deposit Reporting, Reserve Requirements and Account Management.

The material is targeted to financial institution staff members that have direct responsibilities for, or a general interest in, reserve requirements, deposit reporting, and who are responsible for their Federal Reserve account may benefit. Additionally, persons who use Reserve Central – Reserve Account Administration or the Internet Electronic Submission (IESUB) applications as they relate to Reserve Account management will benefit. In particular, individuals who have not attended one of our previous seminars will most benefit.

In addition, the 1-hour Payment System Risk Policy portion of the seminar is geared toward individuals who are responsible for funding their institutions' Federal Reserve accounts, establishing and approving net debit caps, and monitoring daylight credit usage. 

Members of Reserve Bank staff will be on hand throughout the day to answer your questions on the material covered during the day - Internet Electronic Submission (IESUB) system, Term Deposit Facility (TDF), interest on reserves and PSR policy - current and future - or on other topics that are important to you.
