Kevin Foster is a survey methodologist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. He is a member of the Consumer Payments Research Center in the Research Department of the Boston Fed.
Prior to joining the Bank in May of 2009, Kevin worked at the U.S. Census Bureau for five years. He started at the Census as an intern in the Demographic Surveys Division in 2004 and was eventually hired full-time as a survey statistician in the same division. In 2007, Kevin joined the Manufacturing & Construction Division as a mathematical statistician.
Kevin received an M.A. in mathematical statistics from the University of Maryland. College Park, in 2010. He earned a B.A. with a double major in economics and mathematics from the University of Virginia in 1998.
