Biography
Omar Barbiero is an economist in the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston Research Department. He joined the Boston Fed in 2020 after earning his PhD in economics from Harvard University. His fields of research are international macroeconomics, macroeconomics, and trade.
Barbiero has a master’s in economics from Bocconi University in Italy and an undergrad degree in statistics from the University of Padua in Italy.
