Biography
Bill Yelenak is the President and CEO of the Providers' Council, Massachusetts' largest human services trade association with 220 members across the state. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University and his Master's in Public Administration from Suffolk University. Bill has nearly 20 years of experience championing community-based organizations, having worked at the Providers' Council since 2007 in roles including Communications & Development Manager, Director of Public Policy & Communications, VP of Public Policy & Development, and Chief Operating Officer before becoming President and CEO in 2023. Prior to joining the Providers' Council, Bill worked as a communications analyst on a gubernatorial campaign, as an editorial assistant at The Boston Globe, and as a city and state government reporter at the Record-Journal. Throughout his career, Bill has been driven by a passion for empowering mission-driven organizations and is dedicated to advancing equity and opportunity through innovative solutions and inspired leadership.
