Biography
Edward (Ed) Jones is a senior vice president and head of techincal operations in Federal Reserve Financial Services. Prior to this role, Ed had responsibility for the overall design, management and execution of operations required to support the ongoing technical and delivery needs of the FedNowSM Program.
Ed joined the Federal Reserve in 2020 from Charter Communications, where he directed the global service assurance organization for the company’s multi cloud service provider division, managing teams across the United States, Canada, India, and the United Kingdom. Before that, he spent 19 years at Dell EMC, serving as vice president of Engineering Operations. In that role, he led the enterprise engineering services team responsible for services and tools strategy, architecture, program and business operations, asset management, DevOps, cloud engineering, and cloud operations. He also served as a chief architect for ExxonMobil.
Ed holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
