Biography
Erin G. Devereaux is senior vice president and general counsel at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and a member of the Bank’s Executive Committee. In this role, she leads the Legal Department and serves as the Bank’s senior legal officer and advisor, providing strategic counsel to Bank leadership. She also serves as the Bank’s chief ethics officer.
Erin joined the Bank in 2015 and has held positions of increasing responsibility within the Legal department, including assistant vice president and vice president, before her appointment as senior vice president and general counsel. During her tenure, she has advised on a wide range of banking, regulatory, corporate, and operational matters.
Erin has also held several leadership roles across the Federal Reserve System, including serving as a key legal advisor to the Main Street Lending Program and chairing a number of System workgroups. She has also served as a legal liaison to the System’s law enforcement group and the Office of Women and Minority Inclusion Council.
Prior to joining the Bank, Erin served as counsel for the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board, where she provided legal guidance on federal benefits and fiduciary matters.
Erin received her juris doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and her bachelor's degree from Brandeis University.
