Biography
Jennifer Jackson is chief executive officer of the Connecticut Hospital Association (CHA) and Affiliates, a position she has held since 2000. In her role, Ms. Jackson leads CHA’s advocacy and policy development, and its activities in quality improvement, patient safety, community health, and education. She also serves as chief executive officer of CHA’s affiliated organizations, including a patient safety organization and information technology and data affiliates.
Prior to being named CEO, she served as general counsel and vice president, clinical services, where she was responsible for legal and regulatory advocacy. Before joining CHA in 1988, she held various positions in hospital nursing and nursing administration, including as a staff nurse and nursing supervisor at the Hospital of Saint Raphael.
Jennifer received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN) from the University of Delaware, a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from the University of New Haven, and a Juris Doctorate degree (JD) from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
Jennifer resides in Madison, Connecticut with her husband; she has 3 adult children.
