Biography
Marion Joyce is an assistant vice president in Financial Planning & Analysis. In this role, Marion serves as a member of the Finance Leadership Team and oversees the Bank’s budgeting and forecasting functions. She works closely with the chief financial officer and other senior Bank leaders to analyze and present financials for ongoing local operations, as well as the Bank’s strategic initiatives.
Marion joined the Boston Fed in 2012 as a lead budget analyst after working in that role at the Philadelphia Fed. She was named manager of Financial Planning & Analysis in January 2014 and director of the department in March 2019. In those jobs, Marion provided consultative and strategic support to business areas and System workgroups. As director, she led a team of financial analysts in forecasting, budgeting, and planning.
Marion was a participant in the Boston Fed’s Mentoring Circles program in 2020. She remains involved with Regional & Community Outreach’s Today’s Interns, Tomorrow’s Professionals program and serves as secretary of the Bank’s Enterprise Space Management Committee.
Marion earned her bachelor’s degree from Merrimack College and an MBA from Temple University. She attended Babson College’s From Opportunity to Action program, the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Leadership Program, and the System Leadership Initiative’s Thrive program.
