Paul Amisano is a Vice President at Federal Reserve Financial Services, where he leads the FedNow Product Management teams responsible for developing and executing product and fraud strategy. In this role, he directs efforts to enhance the value, safety, and adoption of instant payments through the FedNow Service, while helping shape the future of payment innovation and fraud mitigation across the U.S. payments ecosystem.

Prior to joining the Federal Reserve, Paul spent more than 20 years in the financial services industry, most recently at Truist (formerly BB&T), where he served as Senior Vice President in the Enterprise Payments Group. There, he led the development of enterprise payments strategies and evaluated opportunities to advance the bank's payments capabilities, including partnerships, investments, and acquisitions.

Paul has served on the Payments Management Committee and Advisory Board for Zelle and has participated on industry committees for The Clearing House and the American Bankers Association. He is a frequent contributor to discussions on faster payments, payments modernization, and fraud mitigation.

Paul holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Binghamton University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife and two daughters.
