Biography
Rich Mello is the vice president of the Law Enforcement Unit at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Rich is responsible for overseeing the LEU’s more than 70 federal police officers and all department operations. This includes the bank’s 24/7 command center, ID unit, executive protection, and background investigations.
Rich comes to the bank with more than 30 years of law enforcement experience. Prior to joining the Bank, Rich served as the Chief of Police for the City of Lebanon, NH Police Department and more recently, as the System Director of Security for the Dartmouth Health System.
Rich holds a master’s degree in criminology from Florida State University.
