Robert W. Conery is a member of the Boston Fed’s Payments Advisory Council and the executive vice president and chief operations officer of Avidia Bank. He brings more than 35 years of banking experience to the leadership of operational support, information technology, and payment innovation.

Conery played a key role in positioning Avidia Bank as an innovative community banking institution that has been recognized for its payment services and approach to digital financial solutions. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Norwich University and an MBA from Bentley University. Conery has also completed advanced studies in data analytics through the University of California, Berkeley.
