Issue two of Invested
Amplifying Workers’ Voices in an Evolving Economy
In this issue of Invested, we connect with innovative and hardworking New Englanders to get a first-hand look at the power of worker voice in our region. We head out on the water with union lobstermen in Maine and speak with organized domestic workers in Boston, to learn more about how workers are empowering themselves and coming together to represent their interests. We walk a manufacturer’s floor in New Hampshire and take off with an airline on Cape Cod to experience these employee-owned businesses in action. And we catch up with a strengths-based engagement initiative that has effectively driven growth in Rhode Island’s economy. Check out issue two of Invested to hear in their own words from those who are lifting up their voices to bolster high-quality careers; fuel competitive, employee-focused companies; and spark policy responses to make work more equitable, productive, and rewarding in New England.
