Biography
Ethan M. L. McClure is an economist in the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston Research Department. He joined the Boston Fed in 2025 after earning his PhD in economics from the University of California, Berkeley. McClure is a macroeconomist interested in monetary and fiscal policy. His research focuses on public-debt management, inflation expectations, and fiscal stimulus. He received an MS in economics and computation from Duke University and a dual BS in electrical engineering and mathematics from the University of Rhode Island.
