Biography
Isis joined the Working Places team as a community development analyst supporting the Inclusive Economies Initiative. She recently earned a master’s degree in urban planning from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where she concentrated in affordable housing and economic development. She is passionate about building resilient cities, maintaining affordability for residents, and creating third spaces where communities can build connections and advance common goals. Isis has honed this perspective through lived experience and internships at the Joint Center for Housing Studies, where she supported research on housing market trends, affordable housing development tools, and municipal economic development policy.
At the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, Isis was the lead researcher for the 2024 Targeting Community Lending Plan. The plan outlines housing, climate, and economic development trends and challenges across New England. Other past experience includes developing affordable housing at Harborlight Homes and working in Congressman Seth Moulton’s office supporting development of economic and housing policies and providing constituent services.
Most importantly, Isis is the proud mother of two children and loves to take them on hikes and to museums.
