The U.S. Regulatory Landscape for Mobile Payments

On April 24, 2012, the Federal Reserve Banks of Boston and Atlanta convened a meeting with members of the Mobile Payments Industry Workgroup (MPIW) and representatives from Federal and State banking agencies, the FTC and the FCC to discuss issues, concerns, and potential gaps in regulatory coverage of mobile payments in the United States.
