Smaller Financial Institutions Weigh In: Key Findings from the Federal Reserve 2018 Quick Hit Mobile Financial Services Survey
In June 2018, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston conducted a Quick Hit Mobile Financial Services Survey (QHS) of financial institutions (FIs) that did not respond to the in-depth 2016 Mobile Financial Services (MFS) survey. This QHS report presents the consolidated findings from FIs in six FR Districts: Atlanta, Boston, Cleveland, Kansas City, Minneapolis, and Richmond, and supplements findings from the 2016 MFS survey. The study encompasses data from 565 participating FIs and shows continued implementation and growth in mobile banking and payment practices, products, and services at FIs across disparate regions in the U.S. since 2016.
