Advisory Councils
The Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council represents financial institutions within the First District. Members bring information from their local communities and advise the Boston Fed on the economy, lending conditions, and other issues.
The New England Advisory Council consists of leaders of small- to mid-sized businesses throughout New England. At quarterly meetings, members provide Bank leaders with insights into business conditions and on-the-ground economic realities in the region.
The New England Community Development Advisory Council provides a forum for representatives of community development organizations to inform the Boston Fed about activities, issues, and barriers to community development in the First District.
The Committee on Reserve Bank Directors comprises senior-level bankers who recommend nominees for Class A and Class B Boston Fed board of directors members to member banks for possible nomination.
