The Research Consortium on Quality Jobs brings together institutions and individuals committed to conducting research relating to the quality of jobs for low- and moderate-income workers and raising awareness of the impact of job quality on workers, our communities, and our economy.
The goals of the Consortium are to:
- promote academic and applied research that has been or is currently being done relating to the quality of jobs available to low- and moderate-income individuals
- elevate the conversation on the status, implications, and impact of the quality of jobs nationally
- identify key areas for future research
- support members in their related research
- provide opportunities for collaboration and dialogue among Consortium members
- facilitate opportunities to engage meaningfully with organizations and individuals representing diverse perspectives, including businesses and workers
- surface ideas and lessons that can inform both policy and practice
