Jaromir Nosal is an assistant professor of economics at Boston College. His research interests are macroeconomics, international finance, and household finance. Before joining the economics department at BC, Nosal was an assistant professor at Columbia University from 2008 to 2015, and he was a visiting professor at Ohio State University in the spring of 2015. Nosal was a Kennen Fellow in the International Economics Section at Princeton University from 2011 to 2012 and a research analyst at the University of Minnesota and the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis from 2005 to 2008. He has a PhD in economics from the University of Minnesota and an MSc in quantitative methods and information systems from the Warsaw School of Economics.
