John Kroen is a vice president in the Human Resources department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston where he holds overall responsibility for all department functions.
Prior to joining the Boston Fed in 1984, John worked as a high school teacher and manager/lender at a commercial bank. He started his Fed career as a research associate in the Research department and subsequently held management positions of increasing responsibility in Human Resources, Property Management, General Services, and Corporate Policy. While in Corporate Policy, he served as assistant secretary of the Boston Fed. He returned to Human Resources in 2002.
John holds an A.B. and M.Ed. from Salem State College and an M.B.A. from Suffolk University.
