Kaili joined the Boston Fed in 2011 as a policy analyst focused on New England community development. A co-author of the New England Community Outlook Survey, he has written about topics ranging from suburban poverty to student debt. Research interests also include workforce development, alternative financial institutions, new business lending, and geospatial analysis. Kaili received a master's in economics from the New School for Social Research in New York City and a bachelor's in economics and history from Tufts University.
