Miriam Sheril is an assistant vice president of core product management for the FedNowSM Service at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, with responsibility for the definition and management of functionality related to core clearing and settlement of the FedNow Service, as well as secondary responsibilities as a business integration lead. Miriam leads a team of product managers and senior product owners that provide business expertise and backlog ownership and make decisions about FedNow technology development. She also represents leadership by raising risks, issues, or potential changes, as the business owner over key FedNow functionality. For her business integration responsibilities, she primarily focuses on supporting the integration with other systems at the federal reserve focused on settlement which are critical to the launch of the FedNow Service.
Prior to moving to the Boston Fed, Miriam worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She joined the New York Fed as an intern in 2009 and has held positions in the Technology Group that focus on support of the Wholesale Product Office.
She received a bachelor’s degree in computational mathematics from CUNY Brooklyn College and a master’s degree in information systems from the University of Phoenix.
