Tom Levesque is an assistant vice president responsible for the Central Accounting Technology Services (CATS) department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Tom oversees the software development, quality assurance testing and production operations of the Federal Reserve System’s critical national accounting applications. Tom’s nearly 40 year Boston Fed career includes managing discount window operations, required reserves and Payment System Risk policy monitoring in the Supervision and Regulation group, and oversight of statistical reporting in the Research division.
Tom is involved in many Federal Reserve System groups including the Subcommittee on Business Continuity, Financial Services Risk Leadership Team, and the Accounting Management Steering Group.
Tom earned his B.A. in economics from Tufts University and has participated in a number of professional development opportunities throughout his tenure, including the United Way Loaned Executive program, New England School of Banking at Williams College, and the Greater Boston Executive Program at MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
