Applied Micro Study Group
"Opioid Treatment for Pain and Work and Disability Outcomes: Evidence from Healthcare Providers' Prescribing Patterns"

The New England Public Policy Center’s Applied Micro Study Group (AMSG) is a seminar series that is held from September to June and hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's New England Public Policy Center, housed within the Research Department. The seminars cover topics related to applied microeconomics that have potential implications for the New England economy and are presented by researchers from the Federal Reserve System, universities, and other research organizations. The series is open to the public and intended to provide an interactive opportunity for interested participants to learn about new research.
AMSG seminars are hybrid, allowing for both remote access and in-person attendance at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, in the Seminar Room on the 8th floor, with presentations starting at 1:30PM and concluding at 3:00PM (Eastern Time) on scheduled dates.
The AMSG typically hosts several seminars in the fall and spring. Registration is required to attend. Click the button below to review the current seminar series.
