Jim Starrett is an assistant vice president and the head of agility for FedNow. In his role, Jim serves on FedNow’s technology leadership team to direct key strategic initiatives and champion agile processes and practices. He leads delivery of ongoing organizational operations, including planning, financial tracking, communications, and organizational improvements, such as budgeting and the performance management process.

Jim brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services to his new role. Most recently, he served as head of platform engagement and adoption at Bottomline Technologies in Portsmouth, N.H. He ensured the company’s alignment with product priorities and implemented progressive training programs to close knowledge gaps.

Previously, Jim led program and project management roles within the financial services sector, as well as process-improvement functions.

Jim earned a bachelor’s from Northeastern University and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
